Lessons for children aged 3 Months to 4 Years
Our Crowborough swim school offers baby and toddler swimming classes that run on Tuesday and Friday mornings, providing a wonderful way to introduce little ones to the water.
These parent-and-child swimming lessons focus on:
- Building early water confidence
- Supporting physical and cognitive development
- Strengthening the parent–child bond
- Having lots of songs, splashes, and giggles along the way
It’s the perfect first step into swimming in a safe, warm, and welcoming environment.
Lessons for children aged 4-11 years are available in our children swimming classes at:
- Rocks Park Primary School (Uckfield)
- Sir Henry Fermor School (Crowborough)
- Isenhurst Health Clubs (Crowborough)
These classes take place every day of the week and are designed to help school-aged children grow into confident, capable swimmers.
Following the Swim England Learn to Swim framework (Stage 1-7), our Crowborough swim school focuses on:
- Core swimming strokes and technique
- Water safety and confidence
- Floating, breathing, and coordination skills
- Fun, engaging activities that keep kids excited to learn
Whether your child is just starting their swimming journey or building on existing skills, our swimming lessons combine structured progress with high-energy fun every single week.
Group Lessons
Our group swimming lessons both at the Crowborough swim school and Uckfield Swim School offer a fun, supportive environment where children learn alongside their peers while still receiving individual attention. With small group sizes and experienced in-water teachers, these children swimming classes provide swimmers with clear guidance, improved technique, and plenty of reassurance as they build confidence and skills at their own pace.
Private Lessons
Our private swimming lessons provide focused one-to-one teaching tailored to each swimmer’s needs. With the full attention of an experienced instructor, these lessons are adapted to individual goals, helping swimmers build confidence, improve technique, and progress quickly in a calm, supportive setting.
